Extraordinary tools

Saturday
Have you ever looking for something extraordinary that you cannot find on Internet. Something really interesting for you. Well, last month I spent a lot of time on Internet, and I find randomly some tools that maybe you should know.

- www.ted.com: TED is a small nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment, Design. Since then its scope has become ever broader. Along with the annual TED Conference in Long Beach, California, and the TEDGlobal conference in Oxford UK, TED includes the award-winning TEDTalks video site, the Open Translation Program, the new TEDx community program, this year's TEDIndia Conference and the annual TED Prize.
- www.mindtools.com: Mind Tools' mission is to "help people around the world learn the practical skills needed to excel in their careers."To do this, Mind Tools teaches and publishes “the practical, proven skills and techniques that, used together, show themselves in high personal effectiveness, good leadership, career success and even happiness.” Material is instantly available online, meaning that people can access training wherever they are in the world, and the moment they need a specific skill.
- www.gapminder.com: Gapminder is a non-profit venture promoting sustainable global development and achievement of the United Nations Millennium Development Goals by increased use and understanding of statistics and other information about social, economic and environmental development at local, national and global levels.

These 3 websites are quite cool.
