After 13.75 billion years of expansion, the universe is believed to be composed by dark energy at 70%, dark matter at 25%, free hydrogen and helium at 4%, and other components such as stars, neutrinos, and heavy elements at 1%. Interestingly enough, we will never know as today (according to our current technology) if the universe if finite or infinite since its rate of expansion is larger than the speed of light that we use to obverse the universe.
The first living things on Earth are believed to be single cell prokaryotes and originated 3.5 billion years ago (oldest found fossil), just 1 billion year before the formation of Earth. Anatomically modern human originated in Africa about 200,000 years ago, reaching full behavioral modernity around 50,000 years ago.

Hey Jean, since you are talking about facts, your post implies that life in earth comes from extraterrestial beigns. You should be more aware than a single word in the wrong place could change the meaning of everything.
I'm saying this because if you write that the first cell comes from 1 billion years BEFORE earth formation, that would be a major breakthrough in science! bye!
